The Recalibration Fee: Most vehicles that are 2014 or newer have rain sensors, lane departure, overhead displays or other special safety features that require recalibration when a new windshield is installed. Sometimes this fee is added to the cost of the glass at final billing. Not all Glass Companies do this, however, the LARGEST one in the nation does this to EVERY customer. Don't let it happen to you. These ALL require being Recalibrated. The minimum cost for that service is $350. Be sure to ASK these questions every time you get a quote, and BEFORE you book service.
